I hail from the cold mountains of the Jura, in the East of France. A University of Besançon graduate in foreign languages and business, I embarked on a journey from France to New York City, stopped in St. Louis for a bit, and thanks to Covid, landed here in Fairfield County. With a background in the radio industry, I delved into wine studies, earning a Diploma in Wines and Spirits, and later obtained my DAEFLE teaching certification.
I taught French to all students from first to eight grades at the St. Louis Waldorf School. Upon arriving in Connecticut, I then worked with the Alliance Française of Greenwich, where I still teach francophone preschoolers on Saturdays. I have since developed clientele from Greenwich to Southport, from the very curious toddler to the active and involved retiree.
I impart my passion for French grammar, culture, history, cooking, and wine to students of all levels. I use diverse materials adapted to each student to teach linguistic skills (oral/written comprehension and oral/written production): manuals, fiction books, newspaper or magazine articles, podcasts, comics, statistics, movies, short films, commercials and documentaries, puppets, felt board, games and songs.
It is a great honor to support you in your linguistic journey and to cultivate your love of the language, the country and its people.
